What do I need to bring for notarization?

  • A valid government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.)

  • The unsigned document

  • Where do you travel for notarizations?
    I currently serve the whole New London and Fairfield area.

  • Do you offer same-day or emergency services?
    Yes, I offer same-day and rush notary services based on availability.

  • Can you notarize documents at hospitals, nursing homes, or jails?
    Yes, I provide notarization services at medical facilities, jails, and other special locations

What documents can not be notarized in CT?

  • Vital Records, such as Birth Certificate, death certificate, marriage licenses. These documents are authenticated by the issuing Gov. agency and do not require notarization.

  • Photocopies- Notaries cannot notarize photocopies of original documents. However, we can notarize a document that includes a photocopy as long as the original document is attached, and the signer acknowledges the authenticity of the photocopy.

  • Incomplete or Blank Docs. A Notary cannot notarize a document that is incomplete or contains blank spaces. All necessary information must be filled out and the document properly executed before it can be notarized.

  • Documents with expired identification- The signer's identification must be valid. A notary cannot notarize a document if the signers ID has expired or is otherwise invalid.
